You also get Close Call RF capture technology designed to help detect and identify strong local radio signals in your area.
This scanner is pre-programmed with service bands for your convenience. It covers the bands used for emergency reporting including NOAA weather alerts, Aviation, Marine, Railroad, NASCAR and non-digital ambulance, police, and fire emergencies. You also get direct access to over 32,000 frequencies.
CLOSE CALL™ RF CAPTURE
Provides information about nearby radio transmissions. Comes with Do-Not-Disturb feature which checks for Close Call activity during channel reception so active channels are not interrupted.
CHANNEL STORAGE BANKS
The scanner has 10 banks. You can store up to 50 frequencies into each bank (for a total of 500 frequencies), so you can more easily identify calls.
MEMORY BACKUP
Keeps the frequencies stored in memory for an extended time if the scanner loses power.
QUICK SEARCH
Allows you to start searching at the displayed frequency or enter a frequency and start searching.
PC PROGRAMMING
Use the Sentinel software to manage your scanner’s Profiles, Favorites Lists, Databases, and firmware updates.
NON-DIGITAL SCANNER
